Hi there and Welcome! I'm so glad you're here.
Life can be really tough, and I don't think we're meant to do it alone.
Here in this online space, I help people learn to rest, and learn to move and meditate in ways that work for them.
I work with lots of folks who are living with cancer or other chronic conditions (including post-concussion syndrome), and I also work with many therapists (psychotherapists, yoga therapists, somatic therapists) who know that they need time to pause, to reflect, to rest, and to restore themselves.
I do this by offering slow, gentle, and non-insistent classes and special events that are informed by my knowledge of nervous system function, somatics, yoga therapy, psychotherapy, and meditation.
It IS possible to be in community and to not abandon yourself - if you're given the freedom and the encouragement to proceed in ways that feel welcome. My livestream group classes give you this wide freedom - you can join with your camera on or off, and participate as little or as much as you wish.
I hope that you'll find good support and useful resources here in my online studio, and in my newsletter as well.
Sending love and courage for these wild days,
Lisa.xo.

It's too easy - in group classes or in other group situations - to follow the leader and abandon what you know to be true for yourself. The dominant culture encourages us to listen to the teacher and ignore any wise input from our own bodies.
Here, in this online studio space, you'll find movement classes, meditation classes, and other special events that will help you to choose wisely what is best for you on any given day.

I'm Lisa. I'm a yoga therapist, a movement educator, and a meditation teacher. I'm also a retired psychotherapist, and a mother.
I've been teaching meditation practices for over 30 years, and movement practices for over 20 years. I help wellness practitioners (and so many others) to stop and rest, and to find sustainable and enjoyable ways to move and meditate.
Whether you're living with a chronic condition or you're trying to find your way through other challenges and transitions in life, you'll find support here.
